The Ukrainian military has been weakened by a shortage of troops and ammunition in the third year of the war. Rostov regional governor Vasily Golubev said the drone attack caused a 200-square-meter (2,100-square-foot) fire but there were no casualties. Golubev said the fire had been brought under control, about five hours after the blaze was reported. The Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday that Russian air defense systems had destroyed two drones overnight in the country's western Kursk and Belgorod regions, in addition to intercepting two drones in the Rostov region.
Ukraine claims it shot down 4 of 5 Russian drones
According to reports, the Ukrainian Air Force on Saturday morning intercepted four of the five drones used by Russia overnight. Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk said the fifth drone left Ukrainian airspace in the direction of Belarus. In addition, six people were killed and 22 injured in Russian attacks in the partially occupied eastern Donetsk region. One person was killed and six others were injured as a result of Russian shelling in partially occupied Khorasan.
