A reward of 50 thousand dollars was announced for the information leading to the arrest of Dharam Dhaliwal

Peel Regional Police have partnered with the “Be on the Lookout” program in an effort to locate and arrest Canada’s most wanted criminals. The program was developed in collaboration with Canadian police services and Crime Stoppers programs.

The BOLO program focuses on individuals who are wanted for serious crimes. This is an important initiative leveraging social media, technology and innovative engagement to encourage citizens to hunt down Canada's Most Wanted.

On Sunday, December 3, 2023, Pawanpreet Kaur, a 21-year-old Brampton woman who was a gas station attendant, was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Dharam Dhaliwal for first-degree murder.

“The murder of Pawanpreet Kaur changed her family's lives forever and deeply impacted our community. “Peel Regional Police are asking for the public’s help with information about Dharam Dhaliwal as his family deserves answers and justice for this tragedy.”

The BOLO program is now offering a reward of up to $50,000 for any information leading to Dhaliwal's arrest. The award is to be awarded by 3 December 2024.
