Jabalpur, June 28 (HS). As per the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a meeting of officials of all the concerned departments was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Collector Deepak Saxena regarding the preparations for the Regional Industry Conclave-2024 proposed on July 20 in Jabalpur. In the meeting, the outline of the Regional Industry Conclave was discussed in detail and necessary guidelines were given to the officials for its successful organization.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner Preeti Yadav, District Panchayat CEO Jayati Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police Sonakshi Saxena, Joint Collector Nadiima Sheri, Smart City CEO Satyendra Singh and officials of all the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, Executive Director of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Jabalpur, Shrishti Prajapati informed that the Regional Industry Conclave being organized in Jabalpur will be presided over by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The conclave will have participation of about 1000-1200 investors including prominent industrialists, various industry organizations related to the established, under establishment and proposed industries in Jabalpur division. Apart from the inaugural session, sectoral sessions will also be organized to promote agriculture, food processing and horticulture, textile and garment, aerospace and defense and mines and minerals sectors. Along with this, programs like wire seller meeting, e-biz sellers registration, one-to-one meeting, bhoomi pujan and inauguration of industries, distribution of land allotment letters, distribution of letters of intent, cultural program and networking dinner are proposed.
A power point presentation was also given on the outline of the conclave in the meeting. In the power point presentation, brief information was given about the minute-to-minute program of the one-day conclave, layout plan of the event venue, parking, food arrangements, stalls etc. and cooperation was sought from all the concerned departments for its successful organization.
Collector Deepak Saxena directed to include information based on resources available in Jabalpur and nearby districts in the Regional Industry Conclave. He also stressed on ensuring active participation of local entrepreneurs and organizations. Mr. Saxena said that the Regional Industry Conclave should be organized as a festival. So that a good environment can be created for industrial development in the region. He also gave necessary instructions regarding preparations for organizing the conclave by coordinating with the Municipal Corporation Commissioner.
It was told in the meeting that the Regional Industry Conclave in Jabalpur will be organised by Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation in collaboration with CII and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation.
