A massive fire broke out in the scrap warehouse, fire brigade personnel could barely control it.

Haridwar, 2 November (HS). A sudden fire broke out in a scrap warehouse in Roorkee, Japan. The fire caused panic in the surrounding area. The fire department was informed about the fire. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade team immediately reached the spot and after several hours of hard work, the fire was brought under control. Fortunately, there was no loss of life due to this fire incident, but all the goods kept in the warehouse were burnt to ashes.

According to the information, late in the night the fire department team received information that there was a fire in a scrap warehouse located in Salier village of Ganganahar Kotwali area. On information, the team of Roorkee Fire Unit immediately reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. The fire was so severe that the vehicle ran out of water. After running out of water in the vehicle, water was brought from the fire hydrant of a company located nearby at Puhana Chowk, after which the fire brigade team brought the fire under control with great effort by pumping it.

Due to this fire incident, the scrap, plastic waste and other items kept in the store were burnt to ashes. It was fortunate that there was no loss of life. Along with finding out the cause of the fire, the fire brigade team is also assessing the damage.

Leading fireman Atar Singh Rana said that information was received about fire in the scrap warehouse. The fire was brought under control immediately after reaching the spot. Scrap owner Sakir, son of Hanif, resident of Salier himself was present on the spot. Along with the damage, the cause of the fire is being investigated.
