A massive fire broke out in the perfume factory, six teams were able to control it with great effort.

Kannauj, 02 November (HS). Due to unknown reasons, a massive fire broke out in a perfume factory in the district on Friday night. The fire took a huge form due to the perfume oil kept in the basement. As soon as the information was received, DM-SP reached the spot. The surrounding houses were evacuated immediately. Six teams of fire brigade have been deployed to extinguish the fire. At present, there is no report of any casualty due to the fire.

Kishori Jain has a perfume factory and a house located in Chhipatti Mohalla of Sadar Kotwali area, in which he lives with his family. Last evening a fire broke out in his perfume factory. Within some time the fire reached the basement, where the oil used in making perfume was kept. The fire broke out due to oil. Fierce flames started rising here. It was fortunate that businessman Kishori Jain and her family came out of the house safely in time.

The fire was brought under control after three hours of effort.

Seeing the flames, information was given to the fire brigade and police. Fire brigade personnel arrived within some time and started efforts to extinguish the fire. As soon as information about fire in the perfume factory was received, DM Shubhrant Kumar Shukla and SP Amit Kumar Anand reached the spot with the force. Here they evacuated the surrounding houses for safety reasons. Six teams of fire brigade were deployed to extinguish the fire. After three hours of hard work the teams somehow brought the fire under control. However, by then a loss of lakhs had already been incurred.

Regarding the matter, SP Amit Kumar Anand said that on receiving information about the fire, police and fire brigade teams immediately reached the spot and efforts were started to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire could not be clarified. However, it is estimated that the fire in the perfume factory may have been caused by a short circuit. As soon as information about the fire was received, fire brigade vehicles left for Chhipatti locality. However, it became difficult for vehicles to pass through the narrow roads of the city. With great difficulty the fire personnel could reach the water pipes to the perfume factory. For this he had to work hard. There has been no loss of life in this fire.
