A massive fire broke out in Shahbad Dairy area of Delhi. About 130 huts were destroyed in the fire. The factory was run by Akhil Jain, son of Sonipat resident Ashok Jain. NDRF reached the spot along with the fire department and conducted a search operation in the burnt buildings. A total of 11 burnt bodies, including 10 men and 1 woman, were recovered from the paint factory.
Many chemicals were kept in the factory
Police said preliminary investigation suspects that the factory gate was closed after the fire and the workers could not come out. Forensic experts have taken samples from the spot. It has also been revealed that the fire broke out due to short circuit in the factory, where a large quantity of chemicals were kept. Which had spread throughout the factory.
