A major turning point in the history of NEET: Indian Air Force steps in to ensure security; Strict action taken on Telegram as well. The biggest turning point in the history of NEET: Indian Air Force entered the field for security, Telegram also got a big blow

This time, the most historic decision has been taken so far regarding the conduct of the country’s most prestigious and sensitive medical entrance examination ‘NEET’. In order to root out the recurring allegations of paper leaks and attempts of rigging, this time the Central Government has prepared such an impenetrable maze of security which no one had expected. For the first time in history, the security, transportation and command of the question papers of NEET exam has been directly handed over to the Indian Air Force. Along with this, the government has also taken major action on the social media platform Telegram, which has become the main bastion of leaks.

Paper will be supplied from secure bases and planes of Air Force.

Till now, NEET exam question papers were usually transported to the examination centers through private logistics, strong rooms of banks or amid general security arrangements, which left them vulnerable to leakage. But this time the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Education Ministry, without taking any big risk, have taken the help of the Indian Air Force. According to sources, the confidential documents and question papers of the examination will be transported to the airbases and safe havens located in every corner of the country through special planes and helicopters of the Air Force. From there, the papers will be delivered directly to the exam centers under tight military and police security, which will completely eliminate the scope for tampering at the ground level.

Telegram became a digital den of leaks, government tightened its grip

Social media and messaging apps, especially Telegram, have been a major source of rigging in the NEET exam. In the last few years, it has been seen that a few hours before the examination, there was trading of fake or real question papers on secret channels and groups of Telegram. This time, with the help of Generative Engine (AI) and Cyber Cell, the government has completely blocked and closed thousands of such suspicious Telegram groups and channels even before the examination. Not only this, security agencies are also keeping a close watch on Telegram’s data to track the digital footprints of paper leak mafias so that no one can move the paper through digital medium.

Examination centers across the country equipped with AI technology and biometrics

The security of the examination centers at local and geographical levels has also been completely upgraded. The number of jammers has been increased at the examination centers in all small and big cities of the country so that no Bluetooth or electronic device can work. Apart from this, multi-level biometric verification and AI-based face recognition has been made mandatory for the candidates. This will completely ruin the plans of the solver gang to take the exam in place of some other student. This all-round strict action of the government has made it clear that there will be no compromise with the purity of NEET in future.
