A leaflet was sent to the Prime Minister regarding the population control law

Mirzapur, July 11 (HS). To solve the challenges faced by India due to population imbalance, the Population Solution Foundation handed over a letter addressed to the Prime Minister to the Additional District Magistrate (Land Revenue) to formulate a population control law and implement it immediately.

Foundation members Shailendra Agrahari, District President Suresh Keshari, Harihar Pratap Singh, Pankaj Singh said that in India, which started the family planning program first in the world in 1952, the population has increased like the mouth of Surasa and has crossed the figure of 143 crores. Due to population growth, this development is proving to be like a drop in the ocean.

He said that in India which is carrying the burden of 17.8 percent of the world's total population of about 800 crores i.e. more than 143 crores population on only 2.4 percent of the world's land area, the fear of civil war is increasing every moment due to resource, social, economic and environmental crisis and demographic imbalance caused by population explosion.

He said that there is a demand for a population control law for efficient and effective control over the problem of population explosion and demographic imbalance. For the last more than 10 years, Population Solution Foundation has been organizing thousands of small and big meetings, rallies, memoranda, seminars, padyatras across the country with the aim of garnering support of the people of the country.
