Abuja (Nigeria). 22 students were killed and 132 injured when a large portion of a two-storey building of St. Academy School collapsed in the African country of Nigeria. The accident took place at around 9:20 am on Friday in Jos, the capital of Plateau State in north-central Nigeria.
According to reports in Nigerian newspapers Nigerian Tribune and The Nation, the school is located opposite Busa Buji Bridge. The students were taking their annual exams when the tragedy occurred. The injured students include children below 15 years of age. The injured children are being treated at Bingham Teaching Hospital.
