The world of Indian cricket has always been called the sky of dreams, where the youth coming from every corner of the country travel from floor to ceiling on the basis of their hard work and talent. These days, the stage of IPL is no less than magic for countless such talented players, who emerge from the darkness of anonymity and become famous all over the world overnight. Just before the upcoming auction of IPL 2027, a heart-touching and inspirational story has come to light, which has brought tears to everyone’s eyes. The young player on whom Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise has made a huge bid worth crores of rupees, his path to reach cricket has not been a bed of flowers but has been full of thorns and struggles. There was a time when this player’s mother used to sell chicken on the roadside to run her household and meet the expenses of her son’s cricket, but today the same mother’s tears have been transformed into happiness by her son’s success.
There is an untold struggle hidden behind every successful player, but the story of this young cricketer is an example for all those who surrender before adversity. Born in a very ordinary family, the financial condition of this player’s house was so pathetic that even getting food for two meals used to be a big challenge. Either the father’s presence was weak or the responsibility of the family fell entirely on the shoulders of the fearless mother. That mother did not turn away from any difficulty to feed the family and give wings to her son’s big dreams. To run the household, mother set up a small chicken shop on the roadside and worked hard day and night without worrying about sun, rain and cold. She herself used to stay hungry and buy bat and ball for her son, so that her son could go on the field and bring glory to the country. That penance of his mother and the ulcers on his hands have taken this young man to such a position that the whole world is acknowledging his abilities.
When someone has nothing to lose, he has the courage to conquer the whole world on the basis of his hard work. Instead of making his poverty his weakness, this young player also made it his biggest strength. From local grounds to district and state level tournaments, he showcased his talent in such a way that the selectors’ eyes were fixed on him. When he displayed his killer bowling or explosive batting (depending on the situation) in the domestic cricket and T-20 circuit, cricket pundits saw a shining star in him. Sweating for hours at the nets, practicing with torn shoes and never deviating from his goal had become the daily routine of this player. His unwavering dedication and consistent performances eventually caught the attention of IPL scouts.
Indian Premier League franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has always been known for honing young and untapped talent. The team’s strategists and scouts had sensed the talent of this player long ago and they knew that this player could prove to be a big match winner for their team in the coming season. As soon as the auction got underway and this player’s name came on the table, Sunrisers Hyderabad started showering money on him without any hesitation. Within no time the bid reached crores and SRH won and included this young sensation in their fleet. This contract worth crores of rupees is not just the purchase of a player, but is the most beautiful stitch of years of penance and tears of the mother who once dreamed of her son’s future while sitting on the roadside.
As soon as the news of being bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for crores of rupees reached this young player and his family, their happiness knew no bounds. Success is now being celebrated in the house where once there used to be leftovers for one meal. The tears of happiness in the mother’s eyes are not stopping because her struggle has finally paid off. From social media to the corridors of the sports world, the story of this player is spreading like wildfire and everyone is appreciating this decision of Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the coming IPL season, when this player will take the field wearing the orange jersey, the eyes of every spectator present in the stadium will be on him. This story is not just about a cricketer becoming rich, but it is a proof that if your intentions are strong and your mother’s blessings are with you, then the journey that started from the roadside can also reach the lights of the world’s biggest stadium.
