Jammu, September 8 (HS). A grand Bhandara of Baba Surgal was organized at Domana on Sunday which was attended by a large number of devotees from different areas. The event provided an opportunity to the participants to seek blessings and partake in the community meal served as part of the langar. The devotees began the day by paying homage to Baba Surgal and sought his blessings for the well-being of their families. After the spiritual rituals, they enjoyed prasad from the langar.
Speaking at the event, disciple Bodh Raj Kaith described Baba Surgal Ji as a benevolent deity who rewards his followers generously but is quick to anger when wronged and rarely forgives mistakes. He highlighted that many people now have temples dedicated to Baba Surgal in their homes and worship him regularly. Kaith emphasised that Baba Surgal Ji is a pure deity who does not require sacrifices such as the sacrifice of goats.
