Khunti, 18 August (HS). In the holy month of Shravan, devotees from far flung areas continue to arrive for Jalabhishek at the famous Baba Amreshwar Dham Angrabari of the region. In this sequence, on the last Sunday of the month of Shravan, a huge crowd of devotees gathered at Baba Amreshwar Dham from early morning to offer water and worship Baba Bholenath.
Thousands of devotees started arriving from Saturday midnight. On Sunday, there was a continuous stream of devotees offering water and performing puja here throughout the day. Thousands of devotees performed Jalabhishek of Baba here throughout the day.
The members of the management committee took part in the traditional Shringar Poojan program organized by Baba Amreshwar Dham management committee on Saturday night. During the Shringar Poojan, which was performed as per rituals, Baba's court, including the holy Shivalinga, was decorated with colorful flowers. It should be noted that on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner and SP, adequate number of police and security forces along with women police personnel have been deployed for peace and security in the temple premises for the month-long Shravani Mahotsav.
Along with this, officials have also been deputed. For the convenience of the devotees, proper arrangements have been made for drinking water, bathrooms, toilets and other facilities.
Manoj Kumar, General Secretary of Baba Amreshwar Dham Management Committee, said that keeping in mind the convenience of devotees coming from far off places, proper preparations have been made with the cooperation of the district administration. The district administration as well as the members of the management committee are fully prepared to provide facilities to the devotees. Kailash Bhagat, Upendra Kashyap, Santosh Poddar, Satyajit Kundu, Mahendra Bhagat, Mahendra Kashyap, Parimal Ghosh, Mahendra Agarwal, Jagdish Nag, Anand Verma, Surendra Gupta, Keshari Kashyap, Arun Kar etc. of Baba Amreshwar Dham Management Committee are contributing.
