The special thing about this yatra is that animals are also being taken care of. Tin sheds have been installed for the convenience of horses and mules walking on foot during the yatra. Earlier there was no arrangement for the comfort of these animals. Horses and mules have been vaccinated against tetanus on the way. This has reduced their deaths.
