A group of 110 pilgrims left for Deoghar from Khunti, people wished them well

Khunti, August 4 (HS). A group of 110 Kanwariyas from Khunti left for Deoghar on Sunday under the banner of District Kanwariya Sangh. The group of Kanwariyas who left for Babadham under the leadership of Jaiprakash Bhala and former ward councilor Anup Sahu were sent off by the local youth near the Devi Mandap at Netaji Chowk, wishing them a safe journey.

Before this, the Kanwarias were also welcomed at the Mahadev Manda complex and from there, with music and dance, all the Kanwarias reached the Devi Mandap located at Netaji Chowk in the form of a procession. Many women are also included in this group of Kanwarias. Jaiprakash Bhala, who is leading the group of Kanwarias, said that 110 Kanwarias from Khunti will first go to Sultanganj in two buses and a small vehicle and from there, taking the holy water of the Uttarvahini Ganga, they will reach Deoghar on foot. After performing Puja and Jalabhishek there, all the Kanwarias will go to Vaasukinath. Later, the group of Kanwarias will return to Khunti via Tarapith in Bengal.
