Lohardaga, October 3 (HS). Under the joint auspices of Agrawal Sabha, Agrawal Mahila Samiti and Agrawal Youth Society, a procession of Lord Agrasen was taken out from Agrasen Dharamshala premises on Thursday on Agrasen Jayanti. A beautiful tableau of Maharaja Agrasen seated in a decorated chariot. The front marchers of the procession which came out along with them were adding to the beauty of the procession by waving flags symbolizing the 18 gotras of the society. There was an atmosphere of hustle and bustle in Agrasen Bhawan since morning on the occasion of 5148th birth anniversary of Agrasen Maharaj, the founder of Agra Samaj. It was first started by hoisting the flag in the Agrasen Bhawan complex. After this, a procession of Maharaja Agrasen was taken out with drums.
Maharaja Agrasen's procession started from Agrasen Bhawan and reached Agrasen Bhawan again via Rana Chowk, Tiwari Dura, Hatia Garden, Chandrashekhar Azad Chowk, Gudri Bazaar, Upper Bazaar, Mahavir Chowk, East Gola Road, Barwatoli, Mission Chowk. During this, the women, men, youth, girls and children of Agrawal Sabha raised many slogans based on Maharaja Agrasen. Here in Agrasen Bhawan, Maha Aarti was performed along with garlanding the statue of Maharaja Agrasen and Prasad was distributed.
