A glimpse of traditional art and culture will be seen in the unique booth of Lohajimi, Torpa.

Khunti, 12 November (Hindustan Reporter). A unique polling booth depicting tribal and local art, culture and civilization has been set up at Lohajimi in 59-Torpa Assembly Constituency. Sohrai painting, traditional welcome of voters, traditional food, traditional dance and other arrangements are being made in this polling centre.

More than 95 percent of the voters at this polling station belong to the Scheduled Tribe category. In view of this, it has been declared a unique booth by the District Election Khunti Cell. District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Lokesh Mishra has appealed to all the voters to come out of their homes on polling day on 13th November, go to the polling station and definitely vote. The Deputy Commissioner said that necessary arrangements have been ensured at all the polling stations, now it is your turn.
