Auraiya, 02 August (HS). While returning from the farm near Shahwajpur, the child suddenly slipped and drowned in the water. Due to which he died on the spot. Kartik son Rajesh Kumar Dohre (5 years old), resident of Shahwajpur under Sahar police station area of the district was returning from the farm with his father. Then he got away from his father and his foot slipped on the pipe of a small canal. Due to which he started drowning in the small canal, when the father looked back, he was drowning. The father tried a lot but could not save the child due to the strong current.
Meanwhile, with the help of people working in the nearby fields, Kartik was pulled out. He was immediately taken to the Community Health Center Sahar, where doctors declared him dead. On receiving the information, SHO Ajay Kumar reached the spot and filled the Panchnama of the dead body and sent it for postmortem. The family members are inconsolable. Kartik was the only son of his father, he has an elder sister.
