Sangrur: A debt-ridden farmer committed suicide by hanging himself in Kauhariyan village of Didba Mandi area. Regarding this, BKU Ugrahan leader Balveer Singh Kauharian said that farmer Tarlochan Singh (46) of Kauharian village of Didba block of the organization has ended his life by hanging himself.
The deceased had about 4 kg land. The farmer had a debt of about five lakh rupees. He demanded the government to waive off the family's loan and provide a job to one member of the family. One of his sons is unmarried and the other is pursuing ITI course after completing 12th.
