Dhamtari, June 27 (HS). Some people of the village had encroached and built houses in Gram Panchayat Bharda under Magarlod block of Dhamtari district. The villagers of Gram Panchayat Bharda had submitted an application to the Magarlod Tehsildar by giving a formal proposal. Under which, on Thursday, June 27, encroachment was being removed in village Bharda in the presence of Magarlod Tehsildar and police administration. During the removal of encroachment, the Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Bharda, Gainda Bai, was suddenly attacked by the woman Panch Ramkunwar of the same village while abusing her.
Panch Ramkunwar beat up Sarpanch Gainda Bai. Due to this incident, the female Sarpanch fainted on the spot. With the help of the villagers, she was admitted to the Community Health Center Magarlod. Gajendra also told Sarpanch Gainda Bai's husband that during the removal of encroachment, the village's female Panch Ramkunwar abused and beat up my wife Gainda Bai. She was admitted to the hospital after she fainted. Regarding the incident that took place in Bharda, the villagers and BJP workers have demanded strict action from the police station in-charge.
On this occasion, BJP District Vice President Naresh Sinha, BJP Mandal President Vijay Yadu, Bhavani Yadav, Naresh Agarwal, Basant Sahu, along with dozens of villagers were present. In this regard, Magarlod Police Station Incharge Rajesh Jagat said that a complaint has been received from the villagers about the incident that took place during the removal of encroachment. Further action is underway.
