In view of the Lok Sabha elections, a criminal was arrested from Garhiya OP area under the leadership of Pakdidayal DSP Subodh Kumar even before he could commit the crime. In this context, Pakridayal DSP Subodh Kumar said that in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, as per the instructions of the Superintendent of Police and intelligence collection, raids against liquor, raids are being conducted against wanted accused/warrants of pending condos in various areas of the sub-division. In this sequence, on the basis of secret information received on Thursday, a criminal was caught near Garhiya OP.
The arrested criminal has been identified as Anees Kumar, father Surendra Rai, village Baragovind police station Chakia. During the search, a country-made pistol and a live cartridge were recovered from him. During his interrogation, a tractor tailer who was on his trail was arrested. That it was recovered from Kesariya police station area and raids are being conducted at various places to arrest the criminals mentioned by him.
It is noteworthy that the arrested criminal has a criminal history in the past as well, in which Chakia police station case number 428/23 and Madhuban police station case number 38/24 Arms Act are registered. Apart from the same raiding team DSP, Ashok Kumar Pandey, Rajeev Ranjan, Nashim Haider, Naveen Kumar, Haider Rai, Harishankar Rai and other police forces were present.
