A chariot carrying a 21 feet long Hanuman mace made of ashtadhatu set out on a three year long Bharat Yatra from Udaipur, welcomed in Pali

Pali, 1 July (HS). When the Hanuman Gada Rath Yatra that started from Udaipur reached Pali on Monday, people were thrilled to see the 21 feet long Hanuman mace made of ashtadhatu. Everyone was excited to get their photo clicked with the huge mace placed on the vehicle. Women worshipped the mace and performed aarti. People were seen dancing and singing standing near the mace. On reaching Pali, devotees welcomed the Hanuman Gada Rath Yatra by showering flowers at various places. The members of the Rath Yatra will rest at Bajrang Baag in Pali on Monday night. After this, the group will leave for Jodhpur on Tuesday. The mace has been made by Kanchan Seva Sansthan of Udaipur.

Institute member Dr. Chail Bihari Sharma said that Hanuman Dham is being prepared in Rundeda village on the airport road between Bhatewar-Menar in Udaipur. Here the sculptors are building an 84 feet 11 faced Hanuman statue. The height of the Hanuman statue has been fixed at 84 feet as a symbol of 84 lakh yonis. He said- This will be the only 11 faced Hanuman statue in the world. The 21 feet mace made of ashtadhatu for the statue has been prepared in a year. The mace was also made by the artisans in Hanuman Dham (Udaipur). In September 2023, the Rath Yatra departed from the Dham located in Rundeda village of Udaipur with Hanuman mace. The Rath Yatra has reached Pali from Udaipur via Dungarpur- Bhilwara- Banswara- Rajsamand. From here the Yatra will go to Jodhpur. The Rath Yatra has set out on an India tour. It will take 3 years to reach Udaipur again. In 2027, the Rath Yatra will be completed by reaching Hanuman Dham (Udaipur).

Institute member Dr. Chail Bihari Sharma said that the world's largest Hanuman statue is going to be installed in Hanuman Dham. A mace made of ashtadhatu has been made for the Hanuman statue. The mace weighs 1001 kg. It will be attached after the statue is made. The bow and mace made of panchdhatu left for Ayodhya from Shivganj in Sirohi district on June 13 via Pali under the leadership of Shriji Sanatan Seva Sansthan of Shivganj. The length of Ram Dhanush is 11 feet, width 31 feet and weight 1100 kg and the length of Hanuman mace is 26 feet and width 12 feet and weight 1600 kg. This yatra reached Ayodhya on June 17.
