Mumbai: The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar police have registered a case against the friend of a girl whose car fell into a ravine while he was shooting a video on his mobile phone, an official said on Thursday. Meanwhile, the deceased's cousin has alleged that the friend had conspired to kill the girl. The police are investigating the case from every angle.

Police have registered a case under Section 304 (A) against Suraj Mule (age 25) for the death of his friend Shweta Surwase (age 23). It is alleged that Suraj gave the car keys to the girl without knowing whether she had a driving license or not.

Shweta, who lives in Sulibhanjam area of ​​Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, had gone to make a reel with her friend Suraj. Their car was in reverse gear. Then he accidentally pressed the accelerator. Meanwhile, Suraj was busy shooting his video on the mobile phone. Then the car reversed and fell into the valley. A rescue operation was carried out to save Shweta from the car. But it took an hour to reach Karsudhi. Shweta was taken to the nearest hospital. Where the doctor declared her dead.

After the inauguration, an officer from the police station said that a case has been registered against Sooraj in this matter. We will issue a notice to the accused as per the guidelines of the law.

Shweta's cousin Priyanka alleges that the accused had conspired to kill Shweta. That is why they took Shweta away. Shweta never made any reel or posted it on any social media platform.
