A house caught fire due to lighting of a lamp in a temple in Pandu Nagar H1 block of Kakadev. On receiving information about the incident, fire brigade personnel arrived and brought the fire under control. But at the time of the accident, biscuit businessman Sanjay Shyam Dasani, his wife and maid, who were sleeping in the house, died of suffocation. As soon as information about the accident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation.

Sanjay Shyam Dasani, resident of Pandu Nagar H-1 block, is the franchise owner of Parle-G Biscuit Factory. He is survived by his wife Kanika and son Harsh. A relative told that after performing Diwali puja on Thursday, he slept with his wife Kanika. Meanwhile, a lamp was burning in the temple of the house. At around three in the morning the house caught fire from a lamp kept in the temple.

Couldn't get out of the room because of the automatic door
Police said that an automatic gate was installed in the businessman's house and wood work was done. Late night, the curtain in front of the lamp kept in the temple caught fire. The fire took a severe form due to the wooden work and false ceiling in the building. At the same time, due to the fire, the automatic gate stopped working, due to which people could not come out of the house after the fire, due to which everyone died due to suffocation.
