13 districts badly affected

Officials said around 13 districts along the banks of the Ganga, including Buxar, Bhojpur, Saran, Patna, Samastipur, Begusarai, Munger and Bhagalpur, are already facing flood-like conditions and there is a danger of the river level rising after the torrential rains. Is. Due to which about 13.5 lakh people living in India have been affected. At present, a large number of people have been evacuated from the affected districts and taken to relief camps.

A team of 90 engineers is working around the clock

Water Resources Department teams are monitoring the coastal area 24×7 so that immediate action can be taken as soon as any danger is detected. Three chief engineers, 17 executive engineers, 25 assistant engineers and 45 junior engineers of the department are working 24×7 and are on high alert.

NDRF team also deployed

NDRF and SDRF teams are continuously working to normalize the flood situation in Bihar. According to the information, this time the rescue work was already being done on alert mode and people were also alerted. Now the relief news is that rain has stopped in Nepal, due to which the situation in Bihar may soon become normal.
