New Delhi: In the Union Cabinet meeting, 7 schemes related to farmers have been approved. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given information. He said that the cabinet has taken 7 major decisions on Monday to improve the lives of farmers and increase their income. In the cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, about Rs 14,000 crore has been approved for these 7 programs related to the agriculture sector.
Ashwini Vaishnav said- The first is the Digital Agriculture Mission, which aims to create a digital public infrastructure for agriculture. The Digital Agriculture Mission will be prepared with an investment of Rs 2817 crore.
Modi government's gift to farmers
1- He said that the Union Cabinet has dedicated Rs 20 crore for farmers. A scheme worth Rs 3979 crore has been approved.
2- Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Union Cabinet has approved the Digital Agriculture Mission of Rs 2,817 crore.
3- He said, the Cabinet has allocated Rs. 2,292 crore has been approved for the program.
4- Government approves Rs. 1702 crore scheme for sustainable livestock health.
5- The Union Cabinet has approved Rs 860 crore for the development of horticulture.
6- Rs. 1,202 crores approved for Krishi Vigyan Kendras.
7- To strengthen natural resource management, a scheme of Rs. 1115 crore has also been approved.
The decision was approved in the cabinet meeting
– The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal of Kens Semicon Private Limited to set up a semiconductor unit in Sanand, Gujarat. The proposed unit will be set up with an investment of Rs 3300 crore. The capacity of this unit will be 60 lakh chips per day.
– The chips made in this unit will be used in various applications including industrial, automotive, electric vehicles, consumer electronics, telecommunications, mobile phones, etc.
– Cabinet approves 309 km long new line project: Mumbai and Indore – to provide short rail connectivity between two major commercial centres.
