Heavy rain: After Gujarat, heavy rains have affected normal life in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. Due to the rains since Tuesday night, flood-like conditions have arisen in Jodhpur and Udaipur of Rajasthan. Five trains on the Jodhpur-Jaisalmer route were cancelled, while two were diverted due to soil sinking under the tracks.

Meanwhile, a JCB driver who was removing debris from the road in Gairsain of Chamoli died after being hit by a stone falling from the hill.

Landslide again on Varunavat mountain
In Uttarakhand, landslides started again from Varunavat mountain in Gofiyara area amid continuous heavy rain for three hours from Tuesday evening in Uttarkashi district headquarters and surrounding areas. Landslides occurred five times in half an hour. After this, landslides continued intermittently throughout the night. Due to this, Bhatwadi Road and Gofiyar residential area have become disturbed.
