Subhadra Yojana: The government has launched the Subhadra Yojana for women. The BJP government of Odisha has launched the 'Subhadra Yojana' for women. Under this scheme, more than one crore women aged between 21 and 60 years will be given financial assistance of Rs 10,000 every year for the next five years. Announcing the scheme in the assembly, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that the scheme will be launched on September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Women will get 50,000 rupees
Under this scheme, each woman will get a total of Rs 50,000, which will be given in the period from 2024-25 to 2028-29. Every year, on the occasion of Rakshabandhan and International Women's Day, an amount of Rs 10,000 will be deposited directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in two installments of Rs 5,000. A budget of Rs 55,825 crore has been fixed for this.
You will get 'Subhadra Debit Card'
Under the scheme, women will also be given 'Subhadra Debit Card', through which they will be able to do digital transactions. Apart from this, 100 women who do the most digital transactions will also get an additional incentive of Rs 500 in each Gram Panchayat and urban body. The benefit of the scheme will be transferred directly to the bank account linked to the woman's Aadhaar.

Women can get free forms for this scheme from Anganwadi centres, block offices, Mo-Seva centres and Jan Seva Kendras. 'Subhadra Society' will be formed to monitor the scheme, which will work under the Women and Child Development Department.
These women will not get benefits
However, women from financially well-off families, government employees, taxpayers or those already receiving assistance of Rs 1,500 or more every month under any other government scheme will not be eligible for this scheme. This scheme has been implemented by the BJP government as part of its election promise and is being considered an important step to get the support of women in Odisha.
