Saharsa, 04 September (HS). Former Sonvarsha candidate Pranjal Ranjan alias Dilkhush Paswan has been on indefinite hunger strike for the last three days demanding removal of corruption in the education department. But till now no solution has been taken by the district administration. Due to being on hunger strike for three consecutive days, his health is deteriorating.
The fasting people are adamant on their demand of getting their 11 point demands investigated through the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department. The condition of the fasting people is becoming very critical. During this, a team of doctors from Sadar Hospital came for investigation and conducted a health checkup. Team member Dr. Roshan Lal said that the condition is very critical and he needs to be given saline. While the fasting people are refusing to take any kind of medical treatment.
In support of the hunger strike, the effigy of the District Education Officer was burnt by the student RJD. While burning the effigy, District President Dheeraj said that the loot and plunder in the education department has crossed all limits. We will continue to be with this movement until their demands are met. In support of this hunger strike, District President of Student RJD Dheeraj Samrat, Vikas Sundar Kumar, Ranjay Kumar, Satyam Kumar, Amar Kumar, Prince Kumar, Ajit Kumar, Nitish Paswan, Sujit Rai, Rupesh Yadav, Shubhankar, Subodh Kumar and others were present.
