When the young man came out, he was told that a company is running in his name. That company has GST e-billing transactions worth about Rs. 250 crore. The young man was shocked to hear this.

An unemployed youth has a company worth crores

A few days ago, unemployed youth Ashwani Kumar, who lives in Barsu village of Ratanpuri police station area, received a call on WhatsApp. The call talked about a job. Tempted by the job, Ashwani sent the documents demanded from him on WhatsApp.

GST e-way billing fraud worth Rs 250 crore

Ashwini Kumar says that he also sent Rs 1750 along with the documents, but he did not get the job. Now about Rs 50 lakh were swindled by opening a fake company and bank account in Ashwini's name. GST e-way billing fraud of Rs 250 crore has been committed. Officials say that further action is being taken in this matter in collaboration with the GST department.

Legal action was taken in the entire matter

Rural SP Aditya Bansal said, look, this amount has not come into anyone's account. Ratanpuri resident Ashwani Kumar's documents were taken in the name of getting him a job and on the basis of those documents, a fake company and a fake bank account were opened. Due to which fraud was done in GST e-way billing. Out of this, fake e-way billing of about Rs 250 crore has been prepared. Discussions are being held with the GST department on this. Legal action will be taken together.

What did the victim say?

Victim Ashwani Kumar said that he received a call on WhatsApp for a job. I was asked for documents including my home's electricity bill, father's Aadhar card and Rs 1750 was taken from me. I am not aware of any company running in my name. The GST department team has arrived. He said that a firm is running in my name. The GST department has called us and asked us to take legal action. A complaint has been lodged in the police station in this regard.
