Emergency: Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' is getting embroiled in controversies one after the other. On one hand, it is not getting a certificate from the censor board, on the other hand, the High Court has now banned its release. With this, it has now been decided that Kangana's new film will not release in theaters on September 6. There has been a hearing on Kangana Ranaut's film in Jabalpur High Court and ultimately the release of the film has been banned once again. At present, only the online certificate serial number has been issued for the film, but the certificate has not been issued by the censor board yet, so the issue of release ban does not arise. After hearing this argument, the court dismissed the petition.
Not only this, the trailer of Kangana's 'Emergency' has also been banned. Some people and representatives of the Sikh community have objected to the film regarding some scenes of the film. They had filed a petition against the film and demanded a ban on its screening, on which the High Court has directed to consider. Along with this, the court also said that if there is any objection even after the release of the film, then the petitioners can come to the court.
Hearing was also held in Bombay High Court
The film's co-production company Zee Entertainment Enterprises has also approached the Bombay High Court seeking help and a censor certificate for the release of 'Emergency'. The petition claims that the censor board has arbitrarily and illegally withheld the censor certificate of the film. The petition was put up for urgent hearing before a division bench of Justices BP Colabawala and Firdaus Poonawala, which will be heard today.
