Next generation superstar Ranbir was awarded 'Maharashtrian of the Year' by 'Lokmat' for his remarkable performance. Recently this ceremony was organized in Mumbai. This award was given to Ranbir Kapoor by veteran actor Jeetendra. While accepting the award, Ranbir revealed three important rules of his life.
On this occasion, Ranbir revealed a lesson from famous entrepreneur Mukesh Ambani. Ranbir said, “My first and main goal is to keep doing great work. I have taken a lot of advice from Mukesh Ambani. I learned a big lesson in life from him that you should work hard with your head down and not let success go to your head and not take failure to heart.”
Ranbir also mentioned his special love for Mumbai and said, “My second goal in life is to become a better person. I want to be a good son, good father, good husband, good friend and brother. More importantly, I want to be a good citizen. I am a Mumbaikar and I am very proud of it. So these awards are very special to me.”
Jitendra became very emotional while giving this award to Ranbir. He said, “Ever since I found out that I had to present this award to Ranbir, I was practicing what to say at the ceremony. My very special friend Rishi Kapoor's son Ranbir has received this award. He has reached where he is today because of his hard work and determination. So I am very happy to give him this award.”
