It is being told that the Election Commission is continuously preparing for the Lok Sabha elections and is in the final stages. At present, Election Commission officials are visiting many states to take stock of the preparations for the general elections.
The full bench of the Election Commission (EC) met representatives of political parties on Monday to review preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal. Here, all the political parties including BJP and Congress are busy preparing for the Lok Sabha elections. Congress is busy finalizing the seat sharing with its opposition alliance partners.
With this, BJP has released the first list of its candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. This first list of BJP includes the names of many senior leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP has released the list of about 195 candidates. However, Congress has not yet released the list of its candidates.
