Air India AEYE Vision: Tata Group airline Air India has launched a new feature called 'AEYE Vision' on Air India's mobile app to improve the travel experience of its passengers and know travel updates in real time. With the help of this AI based computer vision technology – AEYE, developed in-house, passengers can view their flight information, boarding pass, track luggage and even food options by scanning the code of their ticket, boarding pass or baggage tag.
How does the AEYE Vision feature work?
In the AEYE Vision feature, users can instantly get their travel information by going into the Air India mobile app and focusing their phone's camera on the boarding pass, baggage tag or ticket. This eliminates the need for any manual entry inside the app and your information will be in front of you in just one scan. Users can access this feature in the top right corner of the home page of the Air India mobile app.
Key Features of AEYE Vision
Boarding Pass: Scan and add travel details instantly to 'My Trips', check flight & baggage status.
Baggage Tags: Users can scan their baggage tags to keep track of their checked-in bags. This feature can notify users when bags are ready to be loaded, unloaded, and picked up at baggage claim.
stamp: This feature allows users to scan their tickets to initiate the web check-in process, add trips to the 'My Trips' section, and track flights and checked-in bags.
Air India said that AEYE Vision significantly reduces the need for data entry to get travel details in real-time, giving customers a great app experience. Users can directly scan a document with their phone camera or upload an image from their gallery. This gives them the desired information instantly.
