Chittorgarh, 3 September (HS). Chittorgarh police has solved the case of destruction of a container full of peanuts going from Etah district of Uttar Pradesh to Rajkot in Gujarat. The Gangarar police station of the district and the cyber cell have recovered 256 out of 517 sacks full of peanuts and arrested four accused. The estimated value of the recovered peanuts is said to be five lakh rupees.
Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi informed that the applicant Naman Jain, a resident of Pritampura, New Delhi, filed a report at the Gangrar police station of the district on August 27. It stated that on August 17, 517 sacks of peanuts were loaded in a container from Etah in Uttar Pradesh and sent to Rajkot. The container driver, along with his companions, destroyed the peanuts on the way. He fled after leaving the container at Hotel Mahalakshmi near Date village on the highway in Gangrar police station area. In this regard, a case was registered at the Gangrar police station and investigation started. A team of Gangrar CI Phoolchand Taylor and Cyber Cell was formed.
This team raided various places in search of the suspected criminals. Four criminals involved in the crime were arrested. Based on their information, 256 out of 517 sacks of peanuts were recovered. In this case, the police have arrested Ramchandra son Jagroop Jat, resident of Daulatpura in Beawar district, Kujbihari son Madhulal Meena, resident of Rawatbhata in Chittorgarh district, Rahul alias Sitaram son Noratsingh Rawat, resident of Badaliya in Ajmer district and Kamlesh son Shyamlal Sen, resident of Kheri in Chittorgarh district. In this case, container driver Raju Mewada, resident of Begu in Chittorgarh district and other accused have been named and search is on.
