Janjgir-Champa, 3 September (HS). Collector Akash Chikara today on Tuesday took stock of the disability check-up camp organized at the Primary Health Center Saragaon in Bamhnidih development block of the district.
During this, he distributed disability certificates to the beneficiaries. While inspecting various rooms of Primary Health Center Saragaon, he gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officials. The collector gave instructions to the concerned officials for disability certificates of handicapped people, UIDID card registration under the camp and to make certificates of 100% eligible beneficiaries through block level Mega Divyang Camp. In this, certificates were distributed after authentication as per eligibility. Along with this, UIDID registration was done.
The collector took information about the arrangements of the registration counter set up in the camp, the tests being conducted by discussing with ophthalmologist, orthopedist and other specialist doctors. During this, he said that no eligible beneficiary should be deprived of the disability certificate. He gave instructions to examine everyone and make and issue certificates as per eligibility. During this, he distributed disability certificates to Mr. Janak Ram Sahu, Akriti Kewat, Uma Yadav, Surja Bai, Tiya Sahu, Manohar Kumar Kewat.
Deputy Director Social Welfare T P Bhave said that certification regarding disability has been done in the camp. In which other disabled persons including orthopedically handicapped, visually impaired, multi-disabled, mentally handicapped, deaf and dumb were identified, evaluated and tested. During this, CMHO Dr. Swati Vandana Sisodia, Civil Surgeon Dr. Anil Jagat, DPM Utkarsh Tiwari, District Panchayat Bamhnidih CEO Kuber Urethi along with related officers and employees were present.
