Protests against UPS-NPS continued for the second day | News India

Prayagraj, 03 September (HS). On the call of ATETVA, the protest against NPS-UPS continued on Tuesday as well. Teachers, employees and officers tied black ribbons at all offices and educational institutions to register their protest.

National President Vijay Kumar Bandhu said that protests against UPS-NPS are happening all over India. This is the biggest strength of this movement. People are standing together by coming out of the boundaries of organization, department, group and posts. This protest (by tying black ribbon) has to be done continuously till 6 September. State Organization Minister Ashok Kanojia, State IT Cell Incharge Syed Danish Imran, National IT member Sanjay Patel said that the protest will continue all over India till the old pension is restored. There is no corner of the country, state, district and block where the protest is not happening.

District media in-charge of Ateva Prayagraj employee leader Ravi Shankar Mishra said that along with District President Jitendra alias Jitu Bhai and District General Secretary RK Yadav, thousands of teachers, employees and officers from all educational institutions and offices in all blocks of Prayagraj are continuously protesting against NPS-UPS by wearing black bands and this will continue till 6th September.

The media in-charge said that those protesting were Amar Yadav from Dhanupur block, Pushpraj Singh from Karchana, Suresh Yadav from Handia, Ratnesh Kumar Singh from Bahadurpur, Lalit from Pratappur, Anurag Pandey from Meja, Jitendra Sharma from Jasra, Sandeep Singh Kushwaha from Koraon, Ashish Ranjan from Uruwa, Parvez Akhtar from Phulpur, Rizwan Ahmed from Kaundhiara, Kamlesh Singh from Shankargarh, Aarti Singh from Mauaima, Phoolchand Yadav, Ram Sufal Verma, Sanjeet Yadav, Gyanchand etc. from PWD.
