Police caught 3 youths waiting to sell illegal weapons in the rural area of ​​the district. 16 weapons and 10 live rounds were found from them. 2 of these youths have been doing illegal arms business for a long time. Police has started interrogating all three.

The Superintendent of Police said on Tuesday that action for expulsion from the district will be taken against the habitual arms smuggler. Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh received information about illegal arms being sold in the Ambah-Porsa area, on which he directed Ambah SDOP Ravi Bhadoria to take action. Along with the police of Mahua police station, the force of Ambah police station was also deployed in the operation to arrest the arms smugglers. The joint police force of both the police stations conducted a search operation on the road and farm trails near Kherli village under Mahua police station area.

Three youths were found in suspicious condition in the waiting room outside Kherli village. They were waiting for someone. During the search, three pistols of 32 bore, 13 pistols of 315 bore and 10 live rounds of 315 bore were found in the bag. On finding a large quantity of weapons, the police asked for valid licenses and documents. When the youths refused to provide the documents, all three were brought to the police station. A case has been registered against all three under the Arms Act and they have been arrested. They are being questioned to get information about the place where the weapons were manufactured and supplied. Two of these accused Hardayal Kushwaha resident of Badepura and Badam Singh Sakhbar resident of Gidoli have also smuggled weapons in the past. Many cases are registered against them.

Regarding the major action being taken despite continuous arms smuggling, Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh said that action will be taken to expel Badam Singh Sakhbar from the district as more than half a dozen cases of Arms Act have been registered against him. This accused has been doing illegal arms business since 2002. Cases under Arms Act and Dacoity Act are registered against him in Mahua, Porsa, Ambah police stations of the district.
