He made this announcement in a program of BJP Yuva Morcha in Varanasi. He said that in the next two years we will recruit one lakh policemen in UP Police.
Taking the previous governments to task, he also said that there will be no discrimination in these recruitments like the previous governments. Let us tell you that UP Police is currently recruiting for more than 60 thousand posts. Therefore, about 50 lakh applications were received, however, many candidates did not appear for the examination.
The special thing is that out of these applicants, more than 6 lakh applicants were from other states. In such a situation, if the UP Police recruitment goes ahead, then candidates from other states will also be able to apply. The written examination for UP Police recruitment lasted till 31 August.
Now after the written exam, there will be a physical efficiency test. After this, the final selection will be done. This process is still going on, meanwhile CM Yogi Adityanath's announcement has made the youth who want to get a job in UP Police happy.

On August 31, after the completion of the UP Police written examination, Prashant Kumar told the media that currently recruitment is being done for more than 60,000 posts.
