The newly appointed Dera Beas Chief Dr Jasdeep Singh completed his doctorate in “Detailed Soot Modelling in Laminar Premixed Flames” at Como Group in 2006. He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, completed an Executive Education Programme from London Business School and IIT Delhi did BTech and MTech and secured All India Rank-1 in RD Division, while at Cambridge he was Dean and then President of the University of Cambridge, for his outstanding contribution to the student community, he was selected in the 2004 Cambridge University Top 100 Talent List. Technology Entrepreneurship Programme jointly organised by the Business School, Imperial College London and the University of Cambridge.
Dr Jasdeep Singh was awarded a scholarship for the PhD Exchange Program at the MIT Cambridge-MIT Institute. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and squash. In addition to his corporate roles, Dr Jasdeep Singh Gill co-founded a consulting firm during his medical studies, highlighting his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to continuous learning. Most recently Dr Jasdeep Singh Gill served as Chief Strategy Officer at Ranbaxy and Cipla, where he continued to make significant contributions to the pharmaceutical and private equity sectors. His services combined with academic excellence, professional accomplishments make him a highly respected figure in the industry.
Establishment of camp at Beas
In India, Radha Soami Satsang Beas was founded in 1891 by Baba Jaimal Singh. Baba Shiv Dayal Singh changed his name to Baba Jaimal Singh in 1856, after which Baba Jaimal Singh started meditating for several days on the banks of the Beas River. Then in 1889 he started giving the name donation to the people there.

Founder of Radha Soami Movement
Baba Shiv Dayal Singh is considered the founder of the Radha Soami movement, who was a spiritual leader. Baba Sawan Singh, a servant of Baba Jaimal Singh, became the next head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas after him. He was the head from 1903 to 1948. Baba Sawan Singh's servant Baba Sardar Bahadur Jagat Singh remained the head from 1948 to 1951. Baba Charan Singh, a follower of Baba Sawan Singh, became the head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas after Baba Sardar Bahadur Jagat Singh. He was the head of the camp from 1951 to 1990. After which Baba Charan Singh's successor Baba Gurinder Singh took over as the head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas. He said that Dr. Jasdeep Singh Gill has been appointed as the head of the Dera from Monday 2 September.

Dera Radha Swami Satsang Purvaad has a wide influence. Dera Beas claims that it is non-political, but leaders of all political parties of the country, ministers etc. come to mark their presence in the Dera. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sonia Gandhi, LK Advani, Rahul Gandhi, Nitin Gadkari, former Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, Captain Amarinder Singh, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat etc. participated. Every year a large number of representatives of religious and political parties are arriving.

Radha Swami Satsang Beas Dera was established in 1891. Its aim is to give religious message to the people. The Dera has more than 4 thousand acres of land. Its headquarters is in Beas which is spread over 3,000 acres and is a small city in itself. It has a large satsang building, residential area, a school and a hospital. The Dera has millions of followers
Dera Beas sends a message to the congregation
The Guru Gaddi has neither hands nor turban as is being shown in the media. Baba Gurinder Singh is healthy and will continue to be the Guru of Radha Soami Beas religion and successor Maharaj Jasdeep Singh Gill will be his deputy Guru and will sit with him and will be under the supervision of Baba Gurinder Singh. There is no need for devotees to go to Dera Beas as there is no formal ceremony or program taking place here. Please do not pay heed to rumors and do not rush to Beas. Baba Gurinder Singh and his Gadi Nashin will visit the Satsang centers together. All foreign Satsangs will be given by the new Maharaj.
