Bhopal, 2 September (HS). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University will earn fame for its activities in the country and abroad. This university will also be capable and competent in taking forward the basic sentiment of former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee's respect for Hindi.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the seventh meeting of the general assembly of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University, Bhopal, virtually from the BJP office on Monday evening. He said that due to the vision with which this university was established, the whole of India is looking towards the university with great hope. Late Vajpayee had a great personality. He worked to increase the glory of Hindi language throughout his life. When Atal Bihari Vajpayee went abroad as Foreign Minister in the eighties, he worked to promote Hindi language there too. He gave his address in Hindi at the United Nations. Late Vajpayee devoted his life to the service of national language Hindi.
He said that in the year 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented a new education policy under which a university will be able to provide all types of education. Everyone is accepting Hindi University as an open university and its acceptance is increasing.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University has set an example by cooperating in the publication of Hindi books in the medical field. The university has played an important role in many fields. He expressed hope that this university will gain new fame. The Chief Minister congratulated and wished Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar, Vice Chancellor Khem Singh Daheria and members of the general assembly, teachers and students for the ever-increasing facilities in the university.
Higher Education Minister Parmar apprised Chief Minister Dr. Yadav of the activities of the university. Vice Chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University Khem Singh Daheria gave information about the topics presented in the general meeting. MP VD Sharma and MLA Rameshwar Sharma were also present on this occasion.
