Bhopal, September 2 (HS). Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare, Krishna Gaur on Monday performed Bhoomi Pujan for development works worth Rs 76 lakh 2 thousand 334 in Ayodhya Nagar area. On this occasion, he said that while constructing roads in colonies, keep in mind that cement-concrete roads should be constructed at places where waterlogging occurs.
He said that in water-logged areas, asphalt roads get damaged soon after they are built. He asked the councillor and local citizens to personally monitor the roads being built in their colonies and ensure that the work is done with full quality. The construction agency should ensure that the work is completed within the stipulated time limit as per the set standards.
Their land was worshiped
The works for which State Minister Krishna Gaur performed Bhoomi Pujan include Nursery to Abhinav Homes in Ward-68, M Sector in Ayodhya Nagar and CC road construction work in Surbhi Complex of Ward-68. The cost of both these construction works is Rs 42 lakh 8 thousand 627. In Ward-68 itself, the cost of CC road in Ayodhya Extension, Phase-5, Part-2 is Rs 23 lakh 84 thousand 876. Apart from this, the construction work of boundary wall and MS grill costing Rs 10 lakh 8 thousand 831 is included in EWS Park Ayodhya Nagar Phase-5, Part-1 of Ward-68. Councillor Urmila Maurya, Shiromani Sharma, former councillor Laxmi Thakur and a large number of citizens were present.
