Police said that the physical examination under the Jharkhand Excise Constable Competitive Examination was going on at 7 centers in Ranchi, Giridih, Hazaribagh, Palamu, East Singhbhum and Sahebganj districts. At present the matter is being investigated.

Taking cognizance of this matter, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that we are investigating the matter of death and fainting of candidates during the recruitment race. After the order of the Chief Minister, the time of the recruitment campaign has been changed from Saturday to 4.30 am.
