Varanasi: A shameful news has come from Uttar Pradesh, two of the three accused in the gang rape of a B.Tech student of IIT BHU, Varanasi have been released on bail. According to the claim, at the time of the incident, all the accused Kunal Pandey, Abhishek Chauhan, Aksham Patel, two of whom were allegedly associated with the BJP's IT cell. In November last year, a gang rape incident was reported in the campus of IIT BHU. After which the police arrested these three accused. Two accused have absconded within eight months of their arrest, while the third accused is likely to escape soon. Kunal Pandey left on 24 August and Abhishek Chauhan on 29 August. Chauhan, a case has also been registered against the accused under NSA, Uttar Pradesh Gangster Act and Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act.
