Ration card holders should get themselves verified through e-KYC at any cost. This work has to be completed by September 5. If e-KYC is not done, such consumers may be deprived of the benefits of the ration distribution scheme. So far, only 40 percent of ration card holders in the district have been able to get e-KYC done. The department has also given strict instructions to ration dealers for this.
At present, there are 267361 eligible household cardholders in the district. There are 37766 Antyodaya cardholders. All of them are taking advantage of the foodgrain scheme. To avoid any kind of irregularity or fraud, it has been made mandatory for all ration cardholders to get e-KYC done.

Supply Inspector Ajit Kumar Yadav says that the work has to be completed within the stipulated time. For this, ration dealers have a list. Those who do not get e-KYC done may be deprived of the benefits of the scheme. Strict instructions have been received in this regard from the government level.
To complete this work at the block level, information about the rules is also being given in the open meetings of the Panchayats. Along with this, it is also being investigated whether there are any ineligible ration card holders. Such ineligible people will be excluded.
