The price of LPG cylinder is updated on the first of every month. The oil company updates the prices of commercial gas cylinder and domestic gas cylinder.
Changes in the prices of these two cylinders can be seen on September 1. In August, oil marketing companies kept the prices of domestic cylinders stable and increased the prices of commercial cylinders by Rs 8.50.
ATF and CNG-PNG prices
Along with LPG cylinders, oil companies also update the prices of air turbine fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG. Their prices may also change on September 1, 2024.
TRAI's new rules
TRAI has directed telecom companies to stop fake calls and messages. TRAI has also issued strict guidelines for this. TRAI has directed telecom companies like Jio, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL etc. to shift telemarketing calls and commercial messaging from 140 mobile number series to blockchain based DLT i.e. Distributed Laser Technology platform by 30 September. After TRAI's new guidelines, fake calls and messages are expected to be stopped from September 1.
Credit card rules
The country's largest bank HDFC Bank is going to change the credit card rules from September 1. The bank will set a limit on reward points on utility transactions. Additionally, the bank will no longer give any reward points on educational payments made through third party apps.
The minimum amount payable on IDFC First Bank credit cards is going to be reduced from September 2024. The bank has also changed the payment date to 15 days from the earlier 18 days. Additionally, if customers use RuPay credit cards for UPI payments from September 1, they will get reward points at par with credit cards of other payment service providers.
Dearness Allowance (DA Hike)
It is expected that the central government may announce dearness allowance in September. This time also government employees are expecting that dearness allowance will increase by 3 percent. If DA increases by 3 percent then DA will become 53 percent.
Aadhaar Card Update (Aadhar Card Free Update)
UIDAI has fixed the last date for free Aadhaar card update as September 14. This means that after September 14, there will be a charge for updating the Aadhaar card online. Currently, only offline updates are charged.
