Bharela Potato Nu Shaak Recipe: There is a different pleasure in eating spicy stuffed potato curry with hot roti. Today I will tell you the recipe of making such a delicious stuffed potato curry.
For the stuffing:
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1 small tomato
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp dried mango powder
- 2 tablespoons gram flour
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
For the Vegetable Stuffed Potatoes:
- 4 medium-sized potatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- salt to taste
How to make Stuffed Potatoes:
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan on medium flame. – Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and let it crackle for a few seconds.
- Add tomatoes and let them soften and then add turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder and salt and mix well.
- – Now add gram flour and cook the mixture for a few minutes. Mix dry mango powder and garam masala in gram flour.
- Take it off the flame and let it cool.
- – Now boil the potatoes in 90% water. Peel the potatoes, let them cool and then make a cut in the middle to fill the masala. You can also fill the potatoes by cutting them in half.
- – Add half the potatoes in the prepared stuffing and keep it in a plate.
- – Now add oil to the pan and heat it again. – Put the potatoes in the pan and sprinkle turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and salt.
- – Cover the pan and cook on low flame for about 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle green coriander on top and serve with roti.
