Union Minister of State for Defence and local MP Sanjay Seth has taken the initiative to develop the Jagannath temple of the capital Ranchi as Lord Jagannath Corridor, establish a yoga center and build a park. He has written a letter to CCL regarding this matter, so that the Jagannath temple can get national recognition and devotees can get better facilities.
Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth has said in his letter that the Lord Jagannath temple located at Dhurva in Ranchi is one of the ancient and historical heritages of Jharkhand. This temple has been established for about 450 years. This temple is a spiritual center and has historical importance. This temple, established by the Nagavanshi kings, has been the center of major activities of the heroes associated with the Indian freedom struggle. At present, there is a need for overall development of this temple so that this complex can get a new identity on the national stage.
Sanjay Seth said that the Jagannath temple complex has enough land of its own. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a grand park and yoga center along with the Lord Jagannath corridor on the lines of Puri. He said that its construction will also develop spirituality in the temple complex and will also provide facilities to the devotees coming here. In the process of development, we should also keep in mind that the electricity system here should be completely based on solar energy.
Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth has written a letter and said that on the lines of Puri, for the construction of Lord Jagannath Corridor and beautification of this temple complex, ensure necessary action from CCL's CSR fund and inform.
