Ranchi, August 31 (HS). Jharkhand High Court on Saturday rejected the bail plea of Mohammed Afsar Ali, who was arrested in the purchase and sale case of 4.55 acres of Army land situated at Bariatu Road.
Afsar Ali was arrested by ED on 14 April 2023. After the bail was rejected by the lower court, Afsar Ali had knocked the door of the High Court and filed a bail petition. He also challenged the process of his arrest. In the last hearing, the court had sought information about this from the ED. It is noteworthy that in this case, ED has completed the investigation against Afsar Ali and filed a charge sheet in the court.
