Edible oil prices: The prices of mustard, soybean, groundnut oil, oilseed oil, palmolein and other oils rose in the country's oilseed markets on Friday amid low supply and widespread demand due to rain. On the other hand, soybean is being sold at prices much below the minimum support price (MSP). On the other hand, farmers were expecting the market price two years ago i.e. Rs 6000 per quintal. The new MSP of soybean is Rs 4,892 per quintal and is currently trading at Rs 4,200-4,300 per quintal.
