Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 46.78 crore in Mangalore

Haridwar, March 04 (HS). Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the beneficiary felicitation ceremony organized at Mandi Maidan, Mangalore on Monday and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 46.78 crore, out of which he laid the foundation stone of 21 schemes costing Rs 45.61 crore and inaugurated 8 schemes worth Rs 1.16 crore.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Dhami announced that Bhagwanpur bus stand has been built and will be operated soon. Ganga Canal Ghat in Mangalore will be beautified and this ghat will be named after Maharishi Kashyap. Irrigation fee will not be charged from farmers in entire Uttarakhand. SC building will be constructed in Bhagwanpur area. The Chief Minister assured that no let up will be allowed in the development of the entire area. On this occasion, keys were distributed to the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana, checks to self-help groups, Mahalakshmi kits were also distributed to the beneficiaries of PM Matru Vandan Yojana.

The Chief Minister said that the government is working with the aim of ensuring that the schemes and facilities reach the people who are left behind in the mainstream of development. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, those schemes are being brought which can uplift the poor and take them forward.

On this occasion, MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Mahendra Bhatt, Kalpana Saini etc. also expressed their views.
